Ms. Mulligan is still here!

Where have I been? Trekking through the jungle, that's where! You won't believe the time I've been having with Mrs. Bumble, Kat, and Dolly and all six of the amazing Catala Brothers! We found the lost city and finally, for just a moment, we found my dad. But our reunion was short lived. The Black and White Sisters would not give him up so easily, I'm afraid to say. It hurt my heart to see him for only a moment before losing him again. I lost faith for a little bit, there . . . but I'm back on my way. Mrs. Bumble thinks that someone in the Council of Butterflies will know how to find the dark and dangerous Corazon Obscuro tribe - the ancients that are helping the old witches Meredith and Mary - to evade capture but our own fearless tribe. We trek further and deeper into the jungle tomorrow and, even more exciting, we may get to meet up with our Claudia, Rupert, and Finn - our old friends who will be visiting for the monarch migration. They don't know it's really a cover for the Council of Butterflies, the convening of the world's remaining Jewels of Jericho members who travel as butterflies. I am excited, but so nervous to see Finn. He did used to be my boyfriend once a upon a time. It was so long ago . . . and so much has happened now . . . I am forgetting what it's like to be the young girl I really am inside. All I know now is the grown-up, half-cursed Ms. Mulligan. And all Finn can do is see me as a teacher. So, for now, I trek through the dark jungle . . . always looking for the light.
